D-shaft control knob and reference interface

A shaped grip, a separate face insert and a shaft interface for an instrument control.

An original Vekform CAD design study, shown through CAD views and a rendered workshop scene.

A control with a clear grip

The knob brings a scalloped grip and a visible pointer into one small control. A reference panel and shaft show how the assembly is intended to sit at an instrument face.

A separate face insert

Two screws retain the face insert in a recessed seat. The separate pointer sits in a shallow pocket in the face.

The individual components

Separating the body and face insert keeps the visible face distinct from the grip and shaft interface. The component view shows how those shapes relate before assembly.
