Terms of service

Plain words on quotes, deposits, approvals, the fit promise, files and liability.

The basics

These terms cover every quote, order and file exchange with Vekform, a brand of Vektrion LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. By accepting a quote, paying a deposit or sending us a part or file to work on, you agree to them. Last updated October 9, 2026. This is a plain language draft and an attorney may refine it; where a signed quote says something different, the quote controls for that job.

Quotes, deposits and payment

Every job is quoted in writing before work starts. Small custom jobs are paid in full up front. Larger jobs take a 50 percent deposit with the balance due before the finished work ships or is handed over. Design and engineering time is part of the price even if you later decide not to print. Prices on the website are starting points for typical parts; the quote is the price. Payment is by PayPal invoice unless the quote says otherwise. Sales tax is added where Georgia law requires it.

Custom work, changes and cancellation

Everything we make is made to order for you, so it cannot be returned for a refund the way a stock product can. Before we print a batch you approve a preview or a first article. Changes after approval are quoted as new work. If you cancel before printing starts, we keep the design fee and any deposit that covers work already done and refund the rest. If you cancel after printing starts, material and machine time used are not refundable.

Fit and remakes

For a replacement part made from your original, we match the original's mating features and include a spare. If a part we designed does not fit the original you sent us, we remake it once at no charge after you tell us what is off. This promise does not cover parts printed from a file you supplied, changes you asked for against our advice, or a part that fits but fails under loads or heat the quote did not describe.

What we will not make

We print engineering plastics, never metal. We do not make brake, steering, suspension, lifting, flotation or restraint parts, anything that holds a person, fuel or pressure system parts, parts that touch food or drink, medical or dental devices, firearm parts, or anything whose failure could hurt someone. We do not copy company logos, badges or trademarks, and we may decline any job that looks like it infringes someone else's design, patent or copyright. You confirm you have the right to have the part or file reproduced.

Your files, our model

Files and parts you send remain yours. The CAD model, scan data and print files we create to make your part are our work product; you receive a license to use the printed parts without limit, and if the quote includes a STEP or other file deliverable you receive that file to use and have made by anyone you like. We keep models on record so your reorders skip the design fee. We do not sell your models or make your part for someone else.

Your part in our hands

Send parts the cheapest way that gets them here safely and tell us what the part is and what it fits. We take reasonable care of originals and return them with the finished work. Our responsibility for a lost or damaged original is limited to the price of the job. Do not send irreplaceable items without telling us first so we can agree on handling.

Shipping

We quote a ship or hand over window and tell you if it changes. Return shipping is a line on the quote at cost. We ship only to the address on the invoice, with tracking. Risk passes to you when the carrier accepts the package, and claims for carrier damage are made with the carrier with our help.

Use of printed parts

Printed plastic parts have limits. Material notes on the quote describe heat, sun and load expectations. You are responsible for deciding whether a part is suitable for how you will use it and for testing it in place. Parts are not certified to any standard unless the quote says so.

Warranty and liability

Beyond the fit promise above, parts are provided as described in the quote and without other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent Georgia law allows. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost profits or downtime. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Reviews, photos and portfolio

We may photograph finished parts for our records and portfolio with any identifying marks removed, unless you ask us not to. We never pay for reviews and never ask for a specific rating.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, with venue in Gwinnett County, Georgia. If any part is unenforceable the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you accept a quote is the one that applies. Questions go to [email protected].
