A place for the board and its connections

An electronics enclosure needs room for both its contents and the points where cables enter. This design brings a reference board, internal standoffs and a removable cable plate into a single assembly.

A lid lip and removable cable plate

The cable plate slides into the opening from above. Inner and outer shoulders capture the wall, and the fitted lid closes its removal path.
