Product development / CAD / DESIGN STUDY

Kayak accessory cable guide

Three cable channels share a removable bridge, making the routing and access geometry visible together.

An original Vekform CAD design study, shown through CAD views and a rendered workshop scene.

Give each cable its own path

Three round channels follow original 6, 8 and 10 mm cable envelopes. The lower saddle establishes the routing while the separate bridge closes the top.

Separate guidance from access

Removing four fasteners lifts the bridge clear of the cables. A section across the channels shows the lower seats and clearance around each cable.

Make the interface easy to follow

The saddle, bridge, reference cables and reference mounting panel share one defined arrangement. Cable withdrawal follows the open channel axes.

Place the assembly in context

The complete study brings mounting, cable spacing and service access into one accessory-routing concept.
