Starting with an original CAD reference

The reference bracket is an original CAD design. Its base, mounting pattern and cross bore provide the nominal dimension record for the reconstruction exercise.

Preserve the design features

The reconstruction retains analytic planes, holes and cylindrical surfaces. A removable bushing gives the bore an explicit mating part.

Carry dimensions with the model

A nominal design-dimension drawing records the base, body, mounting pattern and bore axis. This exercise uses digital design dimensions rather than scan or physical-measurement evidence.
