Assembly nests, drill guides, go/no-go gauges, part checking fixtures, soft locating pads, and glue and alignment jigs.
Machined aluminum fixtures are accurate and slow to get. For many jobs on the line, a printed carbon fiber nylon fixture does the same work, costs a fraction, and can be revised and reprinted when the part design changes.
Send us the part the fixture has to hold, or its CAD file, and tell us how the operator uses it. We design the nest, guide, or gauge around it, print it, and revise it after your first trial.
Nests that hold parts in position for assembly.
Guides that locate holes and cuts.
Quick checks on the line for fit and feature presence.
Fixtures that hold a part for visual or functional checks.
TPU pads that protect finished surfaces.
Jigs that hold parts while adhesive cures.
We choose the material from what the part has to survive, not from what it was originally made of.
| Where the part lives | Material | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Stiff brackets and mounts | Carbon fiber nylon | The stiffest material we print, with high heat tolerance. |
| Clips, latches, wear | Nylon | Tough and slightly flexible, so snap fits and latches do not crack. |
| Bumpers, seals, grips | TPU | Rubber like flexibility in a range of hardness. |
Printed gauges are for quick checks on the line, not calibrated metrology or inspection records. We hold no AS9100, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 certification, and we are not ITAR registered. Your quality team decides where printed tooling is used.
One. Request a quote and describe the part. A photo helps. Two. Mail the part to the address we send you, every fragment included, or in metro Atlanta ask us to pick it up. Three. We model it and send the price and ship date. Four. Approve, and we print, finish, and ship the part back with your original.
Send us the part, a photo, or a file. You get the price and the turnaround before any work begins.
