Your parts library

Every part we model stays on file under its own number. Reorders are a part number and a quantity.

One number, one file, any time

Every part we model gets a part number like VF-Q-2026-014-P01 and a revision letter. The solid model, the print project, the material and the measured first article all live under that number. When you need another, you send the number and the quantity. There is no design fee the second time, and the part prints from the same file that fit the first time.

For businesses this becomes a small catalogue of the parts that keep breaking, kept by us, printed on demand, with a price per piece agreed up front.

What is in the library for each part

The model

The solid model we built from your original, plus the STEP file when the part was modeled as CAD.

The print project

The exact printer, material and settings that made the part that fit, so the reorder is identical.

The first article record

What we measured on the first piece against your original, so the fit is documented, not remembered.

Revisions

If the part changes, it gets a new revision letter and the old one stays on file.

Who owns what

Your original part and anything you sent us stay yours. The model we build is our work product and we keep it to make your parts. You can have it made by anyone when the quote includes a STEP deliverable, and we never make your part for someone else.
