A family wanted matching party glasses for a school event, one child size and two adult, in a single glow color.
The request came in through the website form with a date and a size list, no file. We designed the glasses as a parametric model, the two zeros as eye openings, the frame as a flat plate that prints face up with the numerals raised on top, and the temples as flat pieces that push into blind slots from the back and are fixed with a drop of adhesive.
The first test print was too small on an adult head. Arm spacing was widened to about 149 mm for adults and 125 mm for the child, arms lengthened to typical frame lengths, and the files rebuilt. Every part passed the mesh gate before the print project was written.
Printed in a single glow in the dark PLA with a hardened steel nozzle, three pairs in one plate.

| Order | VF-Q-2026-016 |
| Material | Bambu PLA Glow, 0.4 mm hardened steel nozzle, 0.20 mm layers |
| Pieces | 3 fronts, 6 temples, one plate |
| Sizes | Child, about 125 mm arm gap. Adult, about 149 mm arm gap |
| Fits | Temple slot clearance 0.30 mm, blind slot with a 0.8 mm front skin |
| Files | Bambu Studio project with settings, STLs per part, mesh QA report, first article template |
Head sizes beat guesswork. The resize came from measured head widths, and the second print fit.
Raised numerals 1.2 mm high read clearly after sanding and survive a child's hands. Thinner relief disappears.
Glow filament is abrasive. The hardened nozzle is not optional.
