Window Crank Handle Replacement for Cars, RVs and Casement Windows
Window crank handles, handle knobs, escutcheons and retaining clips for classic cars, RVs and campers, and home casement and awning windows.
Can you replace a window crank handle that is discontinued?
Often, yes. Mail us the handle, even broken, and we rebuild it with the spline or D bore matched to your crank shaft. Plastic handles and knobs are simple parts at from $95. A full handle in carbon fiber nylon falls in our typical part band of $175 to $250, firm once we see it. Pickup works in metro Atlanta.
Many crank handles were die cast metal. We can rebuild them in carbon fiber nylon for car, RV and lighter home windows, but if your window is heavy and the original was metal, we will tell you before you pay that a metal handle is the better answer.
Three kinds of window, one problem
Classic cars lose crank handle knobs and the hidden spring clips behind the handle. RVs and campers use plastic crank handles on awning windows that crack from sun and cold. Home casement and awning windows use folding crank handles that snap at the hinge or strip at the spline, and the window maker has often moved on to a new design.
The fit that matters is the spline, the ring of fine teeth inside the handle that grips the crank shaft. We measure your original spline and model it precisely so the handle seats fully and does not slip.

The right material for this part
| Use | Material | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Handles that carry the crank force | Carbon fiber nylon | The stiffest material we print, so the handle turns the window instead of twisting. |
| Knobs and covers | ASA | UV stable for RVs and sunny windows. |
| Clips | Nylon | Springs back without cracking. |
What we will not make
We do not make window regulators, operator gears, or anything on a fire escape or egress window that a building code covers. Brand names describe fit only.
Every part we rebuild from your original ships with a spare and is remade once at no charge if it does not fit.
How a crank handle job goes
Tell us whether it is a car, an RV or a home window, plus the make or window brand, and send a photo of the handle and of the bare shaft. Mail the handle with any broken pieces. We measure the spline, model the handle, print a test fit, and check it against your original before it ships with a spare.
Need handles for every window in the house or the camper? Copies after the first cost much less.
