Dishwasher Rack Wheels and Clips, Rebuilt to Stay On

Lower rack wheels, upper rack rollers, axle clips, and rail stops for dishwashers whose wheel kit is discontinued or sold only as a whole rack.

Can you replace dishwasher rack wheels that are discontinued?

Yes. Mail us one wheel and its clip, or a broken one plus a good one, and we print a set in polycarbonate or a heat and moisture rated nylon, sized so it snaps onto your rack wire and stays there. A wheel is a simple part on our rate card, from $95 for the first one with a spare and the design included, and the rest of the set costs much less per wheel. Metro Atlanta customers can ask for pickup.

When the maker still sells a wheel kit, buy it. We are for the racks where the kit is gone and the only offer is a whole new rack.

Why they keep falling off

A rack wheel snaps onto a bare wire axle. Hot water and detergent slowly soften the plastic of the snap, the wire wears a groove in the hub, and the wheel starts popping off every time the rack is pulled out. Free model sites have plenty of printable wheels, and people who print them in the common hobby plastics report them cracking within weeks.

Material is the whole job here. We use polycarbonate or a nylon made for heat and low moisture uptake, and we size the snap a little tighter than the worn originals so it holds on a rack that has seen years of use.

What we will not make

Printed parts are not certified food contact materials. Rack wheels, rollers and clips sit on the rack wire and rails under the dishes, and we treat them as non food contact parts. We do not make spray arms, pumps, seals, or door latch parts.

Every part we rebuild from your original ships with a spare and is remade once at no charge if it does not fit.

How a rack wheel job goes

Send a photo of a wheel on the rack and the dishwasher model number from the label on the door edge. Then mail one wheel with its clip, plus a broken one if you have it. We measure the wire diameter on your wheel, model the hub and snap, print a test wheel, and then the set.

Most people order the full set at once, since the rest are wearing the same way.
