Refrigerator Door Shelf Bar and Retainer Bar Replacement

Door shelf retainer bars, bar end caps, shelf clips, and brackets for refrigerators whose door parts are no longer sold.

Can you make a fridge door shelf bar that is discontinued?

Yes, for bars, end caps, clips and brackets. Mail us the broken piece and we print it in PETG or polycarbonate, which stay tough at refrigerator temperatures, with the snap ends matched to your door liner. Small clips and caps are simple parts at from $95, and a full length bar usually lands in our typical part band of $175 to $250, firm once we see it. In metro Atlanta we can pick it up.

Whole door bins are often too big to print in one piece. We tell you up front whether your bin fits our printer or whether only its broken clip or corner can be rebuilt.

What breaks on a fridge door

Door bars take a beating every time the door swings with a full jug of milk behind them. The snap ends where the bar clips into the door liner crack first, then the bar falls out or rattles. Cold makes ordinary plastics more brittle, so a part that was fine for years can snap in a week once a crack starts.

Bars up to about 12 inches long print in one piece. Longer bars are made in two halves joined with an overlapping lap and bonded, or we tell you if your bar needs to be one piece to be safe.

What we will not make

We do not make door hinges, door seals or gaskets, water dispenser parts, ice maker parts, or anything that touches food or water directly. Brand names describe fit only.

Every part we rebuild from your original ships with a spare and is remade once at no charge if it does not fit.

How a fridge door part job goes

Send a photo of the bar in the door and of the broken end, plus the model number from the label inside the fridge. Mail the broken bar, both ends included, or the matching bar from another shelf. We measure the snap ends against your door liner photos, model the bar, print it, and test the snap before it ships.

Several bars broken? Send them all, since each shelf height is often a different length.
