Stove Knob Replacement for Ranges Nobody Supports Anymore

Gas and electric range knobs, oven dials, and cooktop knobs rebuilt from the broken original, in a plastic that handles the heat of the control panel.

Can you replace a stove knob that is no longer sold?

Yes. Mail us the broken knob, or a good one from the same range, and we model it, print it in polycarbonate, and fit it to the valve or switch shaft before it ships. A knob like this is a simple part on our rate card, from $95 with the design and a spare included, and metro Atlanta customers can ask us to pick it up instead of mailing it.

If the maker still sells your knob for a few dollars, buy theirs. We are the answer when the part number comes back discontinued, when the knob is only sold as a set of five, or when the range is old enough that nobody stocks anything for it.

Why stove knobs crack

A range knob lives an inch from a burner and gets twisted thousands of times. Over the years the plastic around the shaft bore goes brittle from heat, the little flat inside the D hole wears round, and one day the knob spins without turning anything. Oven knobs on the front panel see less flame but more trapped heat from the oven vent.

That is also why we never print a stove knob in PLA. It softens at the kind of temperature a control panel reaches during a long bake. Polycarbonate keeps its shape well past it.

Knobs we see on ranges

Gas burner knobs

Push to turn knobs on gas valves, with the D bore matched so the push and turn feel the same as the original.

Electric coil and glass top knobs

Infinite switch knobs for each element, including the ones with a printed scale around the skirt.

Oven and broil dials

Temperature and function dials, rebuilt with the pointer in the right place for the markings on your panel.

Pro style and vintage ranges

Large metal look knobs on older pro style ranges, and Bakelite style knobs on mid century stoves.

What we will not make

We do not make anything that sits inside the oven cavity or in direct flame, valve parts, igniters, or the safety lockout parts of a gas range. Brand names describe fit only.

Every part we rebuild from your original ships with a spare and is remade once at no charge if it does not fit.

How a stove knob job goes

Send a photo of the knob next to a ruler and tell us the brand and model of the range. Then mail the broken knob, every piece of it, or a matching good knob from the same range. We measure the bore and the shaft flat, model the knob, print it, and check the bore on a test shaft printed to your measurements before it goes back to you with a spare.

Want the whole row to match? Once the first knob is modeled, the rest of the set costs much less.
