Vintage Receiver Knobs and Amplifier Knobs, Reproduced
Volume, tuning, selector and tone knobs for vintage receivers, amplifiers, tuners and tape decks, reproduced from a surviving knob and matched across the set.
Can you reproduce a knob for a vintage receiver?
Yes. Send us a surviving knob from the same unit, and we model it, match its shaft fit, and print as many as you need so the front panel matches again. A single knob is a simple part at from $95 with the design and a spare, and the rest of a set costs much less per knob. Collectors in metro Atlanta can hand the knob over for pickup instead of mailing it.
We print the plastic knob. Where the original has a machined aluminum cap or skirt, we can design the printed body to take your original metal part.
What collectors care about
Audio collectors judge a restoration by the front panel. A single mismatched knob ruins the look of an otherwise perfect receiver, so the job is matching, not just fitting. We copy the profile, the knurl or flute pattern, the pointer line and the set screw or push fit exactly from your best surviving knob, then print the set in one batch so color and texture are identical.
Many vintage knobs hide a small metal spring in the shaft hole, or use a set screw. We model the bore for whichever yours uses, and can add a threaded brass insert so a set screw does not strip the plastic.

The right material for this part
| Use | Material | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Most knobs | ASA or polycarbonate | Rigid, holds fine detail, and does not soften near warm tube or transistor gear. |
| Knobs with a set screw | Any of the above with a brass insert | A threaded insert so the set screw grips without stripping plastic. |
| Finish | Satin black or painted | Satin finish straight from the printer, or primed and painted to match a silver or two tone set. |
What we will not make
We print plastic only, so we do not machine solid aluminum knobs. Brand names describe fit only, and we do not reproduce logos.
Every part we rebuild from your original ships with a spare and is remade once at no charge if it does not fit.
How a knob set job goes
Tell us the make and model of the unit, how many knobs are missing, and send a photo of the front panel. Mail one good knob, and the broken one if you have it. We model the knob, print one for you to check against the panel, and then the full set in one batch.
Your original knob comes back with the set.
